Fat Owl Fashion is a queer owned small independent fashion boutique. We feature originally designed pride wear, accessories, gender non-restrictive clothing, adaptive clothing for the disabled community, and custom clothing and design.
The goal of Fat Owl Fashion is to promote pride and uniqueness by giving original designs and fun clothing that's available for everyone. Whether your size S or XXXL, we have something for you. Whether you're pansexual, aromantic, transgender- we have something for you. And if we don’t have something for you, we will make something especially for you.
We’re more than a business- we’re a family and part of a community. As part of an effort to give back to our community, we have also recently incorporated several new additional services to our Fat Owl Family including a monthly newsletter, spotlight features of artists and creators, and small order fulfillment and merchandising services.
Fat Owl Fashion started as a few pages of bad doodles back in the summer of 2015. Those doodles were made into glorious graphic designs, and then printed on shirts and sold as our first products at Fall For Pride in Lincoln, Nebraska.
We sold out. It was at this point that Fat Owl Fashion founder Lane Sutton decided to use their love for fashion and design to make a fashion boutique that could really deliver on what our community was lacking: representation. From there, Fat Owl Fashion grew from just t-shirts to also including accessories, buttons, and originally designed clothing to celebrate all people within our community. We continue to make efforts to grow and expand our business, and give back to our community that has done so much for us.
Fat Owl Fashion aims to strengthen and celebrate people from all walks of life by providing clothing and services to represent the diversity and beauty of our community- including plus sizes, gender non-restrictive clothing, adaptive clothing for the disabled community, and pridewear to represent every identity within the LGBTQ community.
